The Head and Neck Multidisciplinary Team Meeting (MDTM) Clinic is comprised of a team of ENT surgeons, head and neck surgeons, plastic surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, radiologists, cancer care co-ordination nurses, social workers, a dentist, dietician, speech pathologist and other health professionals. They meet collectively to discuss your medical history, identify your specific health needs, generate the best possible options for ongoing investigation, treatment and care and ultimately to communicate these outcomes to you so you can make informed decisions about your health in consultation with your treating doctor.

The Kinghorn Cancer Thyroid MDT Clinic
The Kinghorn Cancer Centre multidisciplinary team thyroid meeting is a monthly meeting held to discuss clinical management of patients with thyroid cancer and is comprised of a team of thyroid surgeons, endocrinologists, nuclear medicine specialists, medical oncologists, radiologists and pathologists, all who have special interest in thyroid cancer management. The main aim of these meetings is to provide a collaborative decision-making framework so that treatment planning can be individualised for patients to ensure optimum patient care delivery consistent with best available practice guidelines.
